Laura Fitzpatrick is an intelligent, versatile actress who excels in classical roles and comedy but is equally able to turn her skills to contemporary drama, most recently in Cancer Tales: "Laura Fitzpatrick played [psychologist, Clare] with passion and edge and there was a feeling throughout her performance that she was only just containing the uncontainable." (The Observer)

Laura studied French before training as an actor in London and New York. She has toured extensively in Britain and Europe as well as appearing in London productions, television and film.

Favourite roles include: Portia (The Merchant of Venice/Illyria), Lady Macbeth (White Horse Theatre Company), Olga (Three Sisters/Greenwich Playhouse), Ginny (Relatively Speaking/New Triad), Coral Browne (An Englishman Abroad/ Old Red Lion) and Nell Gwynn (Orange Nell/Hoxton Hall). Recently she created the role of Clare in Nell Dunn's "Cancer Tales" (Soho Theatre) which is soon to be filmed.

Other film and television include: Marjory (Finding Marjory/Metropolitan Films) which has a cinema release planned, Anna (26 takes on life without allen/Optimist creations) and Agent Joan (Living Dangerously/BBC). Laura has also worked extensively in the corporate field as an actor and facilitator.
